Any good advice? Gonna take my NCLEX on 3/28/14 and I feel nervous and apprehensive.. I finished the Kaplan 2011-2012 reviewer and currently halfway through the Saunders 6th Ed book.. I feel like Im not progressing very well because I only get around 60% above on practice questions using Saunders.. I have only a month now to study before the exam.. Does anybody have any idea roughly how much percentage should I aim the least to max the chances of passing the exam? Your help will be greatly appreciated!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!i read ur previews post and im happy dat u made it despite of those struggles that u have had... hayyy... Im so nervous my exam is coming on 3wks... i just cant relax... : o( wat r ur scores in kaplan>?
Hi! Thank you.... Honestly speaking, I started with results around 60's in Kaplan and even after I started the second book, which is saunders.. Sometimes I even have 50's (about 1-3sets of it) but those are when I took quizzes before I study the chapter.. But after reading chapters I get around 70's-90's in Saunders (some chapters are 10 items, some 20) Having two great books helped me a lot..
Just take it easy...as long as u know that u dedicate enough time everyday to study, make sure u finish like 1-2 areas each day, you will be fine... Luckily, I only had one or two pharmacology questions (which I guessed) and no mental health (which is the only topic I failed to study)... Read more about electrolytes, maternal and child nursing, med surg... I know you can make it.. YOU have to believe in yourself, thats the first step! Goodluck!
