I applied to NHCC Nursing program with a score 11

Is NHCC, North Hennepin? Is that a MANE program too? I'm not applying to NHCC, but to Inver Hills. Just for reference, I have a 12.13 entrance score. Best of luck to you in your program!! Only three more weeks of waiting.

You're correct, NHCC is short for North Hennepin Community College and they offer the MANE program. Thanks for sharing your entrance score. Your score is impressive, nice work! How did you do it?! I need advice! I should start a support group for all current students applying to nursing schools and taking/studying for the TEAS test.

Did you get accepted into Inver Hills? I didn't get accepted at NHCC. I was prepared for it. I knew going into the process my score was on the lower end. I'm taking the TEAS test soon and plan to re-apply by June 1st. I feel more prepared this time around :yes:

I did get accepted to Inver!! I can't wait to start the program this fall. The first time I took the TEAS, I only scored 70% overall. I was super nervous and only used the TEAS study guide book. I took it again two weeks later and scored 81.3% overall. The only thing I did differently for studying was watched Youtube videos. There are tons of helpful videos for the different sections of the TEAS test. I really struggled with the math portion and after watching and practicing through several video tutorials, I scored 90% on the math section. Best of luck to you!!!

Hi Buster,

Yes, I did get accepted to NHCC's evening/weekend program. It was the only program I applied to, since I can't do days and most CC's in the area are day only.
