I have been accepted

Published

So after a long journey, I have finally been accepted into nursing school! When all hope seemed lost, I was able to get in! I am very ecstatic and nervous at the same time. I went onto amazon to purchase some coloring workbooks to help me refresh anatomy and physiology. I start in August! Does anyone have any advice while I am in school? Any tips to help me understand the material as well as pass? How to do well in clinicals? Basically what to expect? Thank you in advance!

Well first off, congratulations on being accepted!! As far as advice, get yourself a planner and get organized. Enjoy spending time with family and friends, cause your free time will be very limited once you start.

Is there anything I can read up on?

Congrats! I also have been accepted to start in August. Can't wait! I think the coloring books are a fun idea to help you refresh. I have also heard that reviewing your old A&P notes can be helpful. I've even started studying for the NCLEX (obviously I don't know most of the questions, but I've been learning a lot by looking at the rationales).

That's a good idea! I had this website send me practice questions for the teas when I was studying for that. I guess I should switch over and get the nclex now. I'm actually thinking about purchasing the ati package that helps you study for the nclex!

No "real" advice, but I just wanted to stop in to say congratulations and best wishes! :)
