Hypotherically which states are the easiest to get in?

Lets say someone is willing to relocate anywhere; which schools are the easiest to get in? As in not as competitive.

I would say Louisiana is a lower compitition state. There is no compitition for LPN programs and definitely less compitition for BSN programs than in other states. There are still minimum requirements, but less people applying.

Public institutions are competitive all across the country. According to colleagues in admissions, there are a handful of private, religious schools in the Midwest/Plains states that do not fill all of openings each year.

If you have time to research, the BON releases a statistical publication each year. LSBN actually reports how many qualified applicants applied and how many we're admitted to each school. I don't know if each states BON does the same, but it may be worth a look.

Whats a BON? :o And LSBN?

Whats a BON? :o And LSBN?
BON = Board of Nursing

LSBN = Louisiana State Board of Nursing

Each state has its own board of nursing. Maybe try looking for those schools in the Midwest/plains through the BONs
