  1. What requirements did they change over the last few months?
  2. Hi, Can you explain what tests are usually like in nursing school? Like what do you need to get A's in nursing school? I'm not great w/ tests as I tend to contradict myself and I get nervous. I have to work harder than other people to get A's on my exams. Thanks!
  3. Oh thanks! What kind of culture shock, may you explain it to me? Over here, there are many different ethincities and races compared to others! So I will probably be very suprised. And is it dangerous over there?
  4. Hello, Yes it is hard! For one of the most popular schools here they have a 5 year waiting list and you literally need MIN. 3.7 for a BSN. It is much wiser to purse an ADN here then BSN actually (if you started on track). I talked to my counselor and he says if I pursued nursing right now it is a complete gamble. This is why I am getting my bachelors in another degree first and then going back for a nursing degree. For my pre-req I got a C in English and C in general psych and this was during my "bad" semester. After that semester I never got another C again, but these 2 classes have really affected me. Btw, which school areas Amnesty?
  5. Most likely end of Nov. 2013. I mean right now I am doing another major, but I might switch to nursing after I graduate. Which school is that? I'm trying to complie a list of schools. Thanks.
  6. Which school do you guys go to? For the ones that can apply before completeting it? I'm trying to apply all across the US, I prefer to stay in California but I might not get in ANY here. So out-of-state is an option. I'm trying to apply to as many schools as I possibly can. I only have a 3.4 gpa. Thanks.
  7. Hello, If I apply to nursing school I wouldn't be able to complete all pre-reqs before applying. But by the end of the Spring and before actually going into nursing school I would complete it. My planned sequence for next year is Fall 2013 (this is when I plan to apply) Anatomy 1 + Microbiology then in Spring it would just be Anatomy 2. Thanks.
  8. I guess I wasnt clear. How long does nursing school take after you transfer?
  9. Yes I know, but I choose another major. So I started late for pre reqs.
  10. If I choose to go into nursing, I would be at a community college for 4 years since I need to do my prereqs. Can I finish it in 2 years? I don't want to stay there for 3 years. Also, I have a 3.4 GPA what are my chances (bay area).Thanks.
  11. Congratulaations :) what was your GPA
  12. Raised my GPA to 3.36! (would that mean 3.4?) I messed up one semester so thats why it raised so little!
  13. At a UC AP1 and AP2 is combined together in 10 weeks. So yes it is doable.
