Hy I`m Christoph John B.

I found this page and hope to find some information about nursing in the US.

I`m a US-citizen and grew up in Germany. I hold a "CRNA" certificate with registration in Germany and Switzerland (not the US-one).

Now I plan to relocate to USA, my brother live in Boulder, CO.

Now i wondering about what is necessary to become a US nurse and what is the best way to reach my final goal CRNA.

I figure out that there is no CRNA-shool in Co. Is it possible to work with a CRNA certificate in any state ? Make it sense, to make the NCLEX in Colorado, and then look for a CRNA shool in another state ?

Do you recommend a special state, shool ?

I read that some CRNA shools require a bachelor in nursing.

But anyway, if you living near Boluder and like to meet me in the summer, no problemo, at first I plan a vacation for 6 month or something :lol2:

Thank you for your time answering my questions

Hi. Welcome. Good luck to you!

This forum is primarily for introductions. Many of your questions should be asked on the CRNA forum where you're more likely to get help. https://allnurses.com/forums/f16/

Welcome to allnurses.com. I moved your post to the CRNA Forum for more responses.

I don't have any answers or your questions, but I would suggest talking to the Colorado Board of Nursing. They can probably answer some of your questions as far as licensure in the state. Good luck.
