I need to choose one or the other and was just wondering if anyone here can shed some light as to which would be the better of the two.

I have both!! But I will say that although the Hogan book is MASSIVE, there are NCLEX flags next to every piece of info that is "likely" to be a possible NCLEX question, so it's easy to focus on what is actually most important.
What I've been doing is going over a Hurst section (the worksheets you have filled out after listening to a lecture -- I did the online version but it's the same info and workbook as the class version) then reading the same info in the Hogan book... There has so far been very little info flagged for NCLEX in the Hogan book that was not covered in Hurst... So if you can only buy one, I think I would splurge on the Hurst review course :) They make everything so easy to understand and remeber.

I would go with the HURST online. Its gives you what you ACTUALLY need to know and Aunt marlene is really funny. I don't zone out when I watch the online videos.

Are only hurst lectures and notes enough for content or do I need more?

They are definitely enough for content!

hi belle,
what study materials are you using beside from hurst ?
All I did was hurst for content. I did Saunders comprehensive test for practice questions, the PDA book for practice questions, and Nclex 3500 for practice questions for my weaker subjects. Really I 100% relied on hurst.
