I don't think the Lonestar College-The Woodlands campus is too far from Huntsville.

Lonestar The Woodlands is probably about 45min to an hour away from Huntsville. You would be out of district in Huntsville so your tuition would be higher, but I can't think of any other college that is closer that offers a nursing program.

There is no nursing program at "the memorial hospital". I assume you mean Memorial Hermann The Woodlands, as that's the closest MH hospital to you. If so, that hospital is merely one of several clinical sites for Lone Star College-Montgomery's ADN program.
thanks! i'll look into it.

Does Sam Houston State University offer an ADN program? or BSN?
SHSU has no nursing program of any sort.

There is a Huntsville Memorial Hospital in Huntsville. It is the only hospital in that area. I went to Sam Houston to do my pre nursing courses then transferred to TWU in Houston. That was back in the late 70's. I don't know if Sam Houston offers any type of nursing program but you could look on their web site to see. If you still have some pre nursing classes, you could probably take them there.
