Hello!
Wanted to create a post for the RN Residency Program January 20, 2025! Any calls or interviews?

Hi! Has anyone heard back from the ortho unit about an interview opportunity?

finished my second round of interviews. I do remember hearing decisions should be finalized by Friday (not sure how true this is)... hopefully we hear good news by then

Second round of interviews? Which unit did you apply to? I didn't know there was a second round.. ahhh. I just had my first round and it was more of a "get to know you" .. very conversational but I was still nervous

Specializes in New Graduate.

Well I didn't even got the chance. My application still in process.

I interview tomorrow morning

I also interviewed for the same unit! I was kind of confused because they didn't ask me much. Good luck to us!

Same! It was very conversational.. I was nervous and then it got better. Do you know how many they are hiring in their unit?

I didn't ask so I'm not sure! Also I totally forgot to ask if it's night shift. I'm assuming it is since it said that in the application description but I was wondering if the precepting/orientation phase would be day shift? I know some hospitals have new grads start on days and then later switch to nights, so if anyone knows how this hospital does it, please let me know!

I'm assuming orientation are days and we will transition to be on our own after 13 weeks. Orientation includes being with 1-2 preceptors and online classes/modules on body symptoms. I'm assuming nights since that is what the application says.

I applied on 11/18 for the ED! Haven't heard back anything yet tho! Good luck to those who are interviewing!

@jj_BSN88 I'm glad to hear your interview was also conversational and it seemed like it went well 🙂 hopefully we all hear back soon!!

Does anyone know when the ED position will close?
