Wanted to create a post for the RN Residency Program January 20, 2025! Any calls or interviews? 
 

Did anyone get any official offers?

Got a call for an interview for General Medical Unit Station 35. Did anyone already interview for this or another adult med surg unit? If so, how was your interview and what were questions like? Any tips will be helpful! Thanks!

I have not! Did my first interview but I'm not sure how many interviews there will be or when I'm supposed to hear back.

I interviewed for another unit but my interview was very conversational and they asked a lot of questions that I hadn't prepared for, but overall I would say the interviewers were really nice and the interview was relatively easy. I think it was really an interview to see what your personality is like?

I interviewed for another unit but my interview was very conversational and they asked a lot of questions that I hadn't prepared for, but overall I would say the interviewers were really nice and the interview was relatively easy. I think it was really an interview to see what your personality is like?

thanks for the info 🙂 you said they asked questions you hadn't prepared for, how did you feel it went? Was it a mix of behavioral, situational, and clinical questions?

I think it went well but I haven't heard back yet, so who knows! The only question I was expecting was "tell me about yourself." There were a couple of "name a time when ___ happened and how did you handle that situation" questions. No clinical questions for me, but I imagine it would be different depending on the unit you're interviewing for. Sorry, I wish I could be more specific but I honestly forgot a lot of the questions they asked and I was so nervous that I think I blacked out a lot of what happened! But I really felt like it was more conversational than any other interview I've had, and I remember ending the call and feeling really good about it! Good luck!!

I saw Nov 18th for openings too. I'm going to contact them to see what happened.

@rosie01928 okay cool, I interviewed as well and didn't ask a time frame to hear back
