Hi. Could you please share some tips how to prepare for the interview. Im currently in nursing school and thinking about applying for new grad program at Huntington later. Thank you!

Hi, to be very honest with you, I didn't prepare and my interview was nothing like other interviews. They didn't ask me any clinical questions but really wanted to get to know me. So tell me about yourself and that just led to other questions. I truly got lucky with getting into Huntington hospital as I noticed that a lot of the new grad nurses were already working as a CCP or student intern there. I think there's around 20-30 new grads in different units and possibly that number changes each cohort. Good luck!!

Does anyone happen to know when the Spring Cohort applications open? There's no date on the website, only the new employee orientation date /:

It changes all the time so just keep an eye out on it and also on the careers page for the link.

Thank you for sharing. This may be a little personal but may I ask what the starting rate for new grad is generally? Also if they offer both day shift and night shift?

It's 43.90 base pay for 8 hours. And 1.5 for the last 4 hours for a 12 hour shift. And if you're nights, then there is a night differential. So it averages about $56/hour for nights. The 43.90 is base for a lot of the educational part of the program like seminars, skills, and modules.
