Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for the August 2024 Cohort at Huntington Hospitals RN Residency Program. Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!

I would call their HR to ask for an update. When I called they forwarded my application to the hiring managers for available units that were still taking interviews.

thanks! I actually interviewed with them about a week ago so I thought I would receive an update by now. I will reach out to them!

I called HR and talent acquisition and they said that tomorrow is actually the last day for the departments to make choices. She also said ICU and NICU already made their decisions.

Here is the info on the pay from the job posting: (I usually download all the job postings as PDFs bc they always disappear) 

"Compensation Range:

Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $43.90 - $51.22 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.*12 hour shifts at Huntington Health are overtime-based (not a straight time rate for all 12 hours). Therefore, employees who work a full 12-hour shift will be paid their base rate for 8 hours AND overtime (1.5) for hours up to 12."

@maemae88 let me know how your interview went today. I just had mine and they asked mostly stroke questions, one delegation question, and a few typical "tell me a time when..." questions. I forgot to ask when they would be notifying people if they got the job or not, hopefully they let you know.

Hi all, I called HR and they said that some units had made their decisions already but I haven't gotten anything, yet my application status still says 'In Process.’ Does anyone else have this issue?

wait, so not all units have made their decisions? which unit did you apply to because I have the same thing.

I applied to Nicu, Mother/Baby, ER, and ICU. I got rejected from ICU and ER, I did get a notification about those. However, apparently NICU already made their selections but my application is still 'In Process' and so is the mother/ baby application.

To anyone who interviewed with neuro/stroke unit, have you heard back?

I interviewed last Thursday. I got a job offer Monday morning. I had 24 hours to accept it. For context, I thought I bombed that interview. I didn't know most of the technical stroke questions.

Congratulations! Wow just 24hrs to decide? Do mind me asking if you took the offer? 
 

I also interviewed on Thursday but haven't heard back so I'm assuming I didn't get it. I'm bummed out I thought I did good in the technical questions and overall thought the interview went well.
