Humber or George Brown Sept 2014

Hi Everybody!

I've been having dilemmas lately on what nursing school is better suited for me. My top 2 schools that I've applied for is George Brown & Humber College.

I've applied to both RPN & RN degree's in both schools. I'm still deciding on what career path is best for me to take 4 years or, 2 then 3 years, but ultimately my dream job is to end up as a paediatric or OB/Maternity Nurse :inlove:

I know that its pretty early & people are only applying now to colleges/uni's but I really would like to see comments/reviews of individuals who are already in these school's or graduated. Thank you :)

Hey! I feel like their both similar. I'm in my second year now, and the semester I just completed is the most difficult alot of quizzes, assignments on top of midterms & final exams. I understand what you mean about the stress, but thankfully I only do 5 courses each semester, take out clinical and it's 4. It is achievable just requires priorities to be put into place but definitely can be done! I don't work during the school year but I have friends who do, and they managed to get good marks and still work part time. However I really think that depends on the person, whether they can do that I know I can't. Overall I'm glad I made the decision to go to Humber. Good luck with your program! And enjoy your Winter break ?

You're probably all done and graduated by now. LOL I was wondering if you had any tips or advice you can give for newcomers to the nursing program at Humber? Anything really..about the school? professors? classes? anything to look out for would really be helpful! thank you!

Hi! I'm looking to become a RN, but am having difficulties as to which school I should attend between George Brown, Humber or Seneca. Would appreciate any feedback. I'm looking at schools that have amazing professors, great support for students, and reasonable course load ( if that even exists)

Maybe I'm late. But so far I'm hearing better things about Humber than GBC tbh.
