have any of you got all the theorist confused? i keep finding it hard to remember what freud had to say, vs erikson ..then bates..i know in my other class of medical term, i use flash cards to remember, but this is too much to write down to do that. does anyone have any suggestions on how to remember, should i study just key points that are different from each person and memorize that way? thanks you all...

Study those theorist and have a good understanding of them because in nursing they will come into play, at least at my school they do for care plans.

Freud thought that humans developed in psychosexual stages, and Erikson proposed humans developed in psychosocial stages, hence Erikson's 8 stages of development(which so far in my program are very very important to know). i think thats the difference between them to, although you might want to ask someone else as my memory might be foggy.
