Yeah thats a part of the TOS I just forgot about it when we first started (Whoops my bad!) But I'm glad the tips helped out. About the clothing thing, don't get me wrong you can dress nice (as a guy it made class much easier to see some fine looking girls well dressed in class) I would just say for lab its probably best to keep it casual and just in case the smell doesn't come out of the clothing (for the most part it does) you don't want any of your really nice clothing ruined that's all. I really hope it helps.

Yup, I also made a mistake using professors names...oops! I tried dressing halfway decent for the first few classes in anatomy, then ditched that idea. It was super cold out and snowy when we were working on the cat, so I would usually wear a North Face, sweatpants and some comfy uggs (yup, they're ugly but quite warm). Then I realized that all of my stuff was starting to really retain that "formaldehyde"-ish smell. Old Navy came in handy at that point.....cheap, comfortable, and disposable! I am so glad I never have to take a lab science again :chuckle

HI Rhody or Chris,

For Anatomy is there anything else that need to be purchased besides non latex gloves????

Not that I can think of. Just make sure you keep an eye on your glove stash....people just love to "borrow" your gloves EVERY DAY! :D

Cheap gloves for lab, some kind of body spray or perfume for the smell and maybe a recorder to record what the professor has to say during lab and lecture and for you to make oral notes and observations during lab (I've heard that it has helped some students.)

Good luck!

Good idea. That would help safeguard your clothes!

A lab coat wouldn't be bad at all but most labs have old smocks and coats that you can use if you want. I would suggest that if your going to get a lab coat go right to the bookstore and get one of the cheap disposable ones. There white, plain and ugly but they are cheap and they can button up and its good enough for an Anatomy lab. Don't go getting once of the fancier cloth ones with CCRI printed on them or anything like that.

thanks Chris...I have never been in a lab so I really wanted to know if they provided one or we had to purchase one. Thanks Chris.

Wow today was the first day of class......it was scary but nice....never been to the Providence campus......now I gotta go study those 200 zoological root words for quiz next Saturday.....
