HRSA 2021-2022

Updated:   Published

I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

Hi, everyone!

I'm an applicant for the Nurse corps scholarship for this term. I also applied to the program last year, but I did not receive it. I am hopeful in the process this go round, and I look forward to hearing back.
Last year, I got the denial email on September 17, so hopefully we know something by then! I do know that some people found out as early as July! Crossing my fingers. I’m currently in an ABSN program  pursuing women’s health.

heyyy ! women's health! awesomeeee. I hope you get it too. praying!

Good luck, everybody! I hope they see the unique and positive characteristics each one of us highlighted in the application and that we are all selected! Sending good vibes to all of you during this long wait.

Hey Guys,

Just came across this feed! I also applied! Wishing everyone the best of luck!! Praying for us all ❤️❤️

Hi Guys!

So excited to find this thread. I started at an ABSN this Summer semester, but since HERSA only provides scholarships for the academic year, I applied for Fall 2021/22. I am wondering if any of you have any idea how long it takes for them to review the applications and get back to us?

No problem!! It’s gonna be awhile but fingers crossed we get it

I recall, from a previous thread & YT vids, someone saying that the first stipend is delivered late but you receive a lump sum. Is this ringing a bell for anyone else? I’m just trying to make sure because I have bills LOL

Hello everyone! I applied as well and so anxious to see the outcome. I’ve done a lot of digging for info on this! I’m so looking forward!

Hi all,

For the application how many recommendations did you need and what did they ask the recommendations to contain? Also I seen a section where it said for it to be a handwritten signature is this true

You need two (2) recommendation, one academic and one non-academic h/e if you’ve been out of school for more than 5 years you can use another non academic recommender they just need to answer the same questions that the academic recommender would answer. It can be either handwritten or electronic signature
