I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

I missed this part in your question,not sure what exactly they asked from the academic recommender because they academic recommender had access to the questions in the portal on their end. But for the non academic recommender, they should write about your experience and/or interest in helping underserved communities. So if you’ve done any sort of community service or volunteer work, it would be ideal to have the person oversaw your work write one for you. Also, both recommenders should describe your relationship with them. More information is on page 34-35 in the guidelines.

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if any of you received a confirmation email after you submitted your application? I submitted mine on the day of the deadline and didn’t receive any confirmation email so I was just wondering if that’s normal.

Hey there,  no I didn’t receive one. I did get a confirmation PDF of what I submitted. You have to access it through the portal.

I did not get one But the portal shows that I submitted my application.
