HRSA 2021-2022

I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

That happened to some others as well! It’d be taking them a while to organize emails etc! But congratulations!! You are in!! Who was your reviewer!?

August 12th ?, still haven’t received my countersigned contract.

Signatures are coming . It’s probably a lot of work  on their part so be patient. You got the scholarship just chill

That would make a lot of sense as to why the timings differ so much. And one person can’t handle ALL of our applications. Thanks for that info!

Do you have a back up plan? Even if selected the funds are not distributed till end of October. I do not think everyone realizes that this money is not instant. If you took out loans for Summer or fall to pay then they will reimburse you so I have loans for this semester and will just pat them off with my first check.

Same, I got my finalist letter back on 8/16. But my school started on 5/17 so I have loans already. And just hope they back me back so I cancel my loans.
