2025 HRSA Nurse Corps Scholarships

This is for anyone interested/applying for HRSA Scholarship.

Have you been accepted? Still in the application process? Just started the Scholarship application?

Apply to the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program

You are eligible if you:

  • Are a U.S. citizen (born or naturalized), a national, or a lawful permanent resident
  • Are an accepted or enrolled student in a nursing degree program at a United States accredited school of nursing
  • Begin classes no later than September 30
  • Don't have any federal judgment liens
  • Don't have an existing service commitment
  • Aren't overdue on a federal debt

Note: Preference to those who need the most help financially.

Why should you apply?

If you receive an award, you'll get a monthly stipend—and they'll pay your

  • tuition;
  • eligible fees;
  • reasonable costs (includes books, clinical supplies/instruments, and uniforms).

Does anyone know if it's possible to use the scholarship for an RN degree and then extend it after graduation to then get your BSN?

I think at that point you would have to apply for continuation which is not guaranteed.

Hi guys, did you reach out to your financial aid department to send the invoices to NurseCorps?

Yea I send the email with the contact us and the invoicing guide for schools, going to talk with them in person to see if they sent it yet. I want to get my loan money back to send it back to them.

OK thank you for letting me know. I'll reach out to my school tomorrow and ask them to send the invoices to NurseCorps.

Hi guys, has anyone received their stipends yet? Do you know when they will most like disburse the payments?

I have not but they said end of October and Nov 15 latest. I think they'll wait til after the zoom orientation which I believe is this week

Thank you for your response. I hope they disburse them at the end of October I'm in desperate need for money right now.
