2025 HRSA Nurse Corps Loan Repayment

Published

Hi all!

here is some information about previous award recipients for the Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program through HRSA.

This is my 3rd year applying. Previously as a hospital nurse. I decided to get an OB certification this year as there is more funding for OB certified nurses.

Last year I was tier one for base (public hospitals). I asked for feedback on who was awarded last year and this was the breakdown I received in 2024.

Psych/ NP

             lowest tier funded: 2

             lowest debt-to-salary ration: 80%

Women's Health/Maternal Health

                lowest tier funded: 2

                 lowest debt-to-salary ration: 52%

Base (disproportionate Share hospitals/ public hospitals)

              lowest tier funded: 1

               lowest debt-to-salary ration: 166%

Base (other)

                lowest tier funded: 2

                lowest debt-to-salary ration: 96%

Nurse Faculty

                 lowest tier funded: 2

                 lowest debt-to-salary ration: 185%

Hi all, I'm trying to stay calm but I'm so nervous. Credit was checked in early May, notified I was a finalist and signed my contract on June 23. It seems extremely early from past cycles and I'm wondering if anyone else has been converted to a finalist yet? Really really hoping a countersignature comes soon! I applied as a nurse educator and was sure I wouldn't get it, since they said they would probably only allot 10% to educators this year.

Were you emailed about being a finalist? I haven't heard anything yet. If so, Was the email address HRSA?

Email was from [email protected] but shows up as HRSA in your box.
