Hi all,

I have been accepted into the HCC accelerated program for 2010. Just wondering if there is anyone else who has applied for this or anyone who may have recent experience with this program. This is a career change for me and I'm both excited and nervous for what is to come!!

Sorry, I cant answer your question but Im hoping you can answer one for me. Could you please tell me how the admissions process is either for the traditional or advanced program? Also if you dont mind me asking what is/was your GPA that got you accepted?

Well I got accepted for the accelerated program during the "rolling admissions period" which ends in December. This means if you are finished all the pre reqs and aquire at least 15 points you can get an automatic seat in the program. I got 5 points for having a BS degree and I got 10 points for having a 3.75 gpa in the science classes that I took this past year. My overall gpa from 10 years ago and was only a 3.25 but I didn't take any of those required science classes at that time (Micro, Chem, A&PI&II).
