I did over 1000 Mosby Questions, plus a bunch of Saunders CD-ROM questions. I also read the Kaplan Book and did the practice test on CD. I'm making sure I know all my normal lab values (electrolytes, Hematology, etc.) and then brushing up on weak areas (renal, l&d). I still don't feel like I know enough, but will I ever feel ready? I haven't taken any review courses either. Saturday's the big day, so I'll let you know how it goes.
I had a ERI live review earlier this week and now I am studying Saunders CD with 100 questions a day and Kaplan. I really don't know how to study all this information except answering a lot of questions. I started making psych drug cards and learning lab values and remembering all the cranial nerves. I did well in school, but I do not do well on standardized tests. I am really getting nervous about the NCLEX.

I know how you feel. Although I don't get nervous about tests, I am still scared to take this exam. I have been doing so many questions and I have been scoring 70s on Kaplan tests. I took the Kaplan review class and was one out of 5 that passed the diagnostic and readiness tests out of a class of 50 students. With that all said, I am still scared. I was an A/B student in nursing school and never failed a test. If I don't get a test date soon I think I might die!!!!!!!
I took the NCLEX on Saturday. I knew all my lab values and didn't have a single question about them. I knew the cranial nerves too...nothing. One calculation appeared, but it was very simple. One newborn question. Lots of pharm...LOTS OF PHARM. But, again, everyone's test is so different. Kaplan's test-taking skills helped a lot...I hope. Won't know my results for at least 2 more days.

How to study - that's the big question. I have a Mosby review book, and 'NCLEX-RN Q&A made incredibly easy'. I guess, I'll just practice, practice, practice. I also signed up for Delma Learning - online practice tests for 50 bucks. Another 3000 Questions. I'm probably over-doing it, but I'm nervous!!!! I hope, I get my ATT soon, before I go nuts!!!!!
I Have Been Using Saunders, Lippincott, Kaplan, And The Nclex 3000 Disks. I Can't Afford Any Review Classes Right Now So I Have To Rely On Myself. I'm Not Sure If This Is Enough But I Am Still Answering Questions. I Am Taking The Test On June 19, I Pushed It Back From May 22. But Like Everyone Keeps Saying, Will I Ever Be Ready. Anyway, Thats What I Am Using To Study.
I am studying with a mosby's review book/cd plus my school has a set up an online review course thru the ncbsn website. I also have review books from the standardized tests we had each semester of school. I am studying but feel kinda disorganized. I received my ATT today and nearly fainted. :uhoh21: Suddenly, it dawned on me that I need to get focused. I plan to test June 15. Good luck all! :)

Just wondering how those of you that are studying for the NCLEX are studying. I'm trying really hard, but I no clue where to begin. I took Kaplan so I think I may just listen to their lectures, follow along with their book, and do their question trainer CD. If I run across anything that I don't know I'll review it then. How about everyone else?
