How to stop Onward Healthcare harassment?

A few years ago I contacted Onward Healthcare about a travel position. I did let them have my phone number and email address. They couldn't help me but they have since continued to harass me with phone calls and emails.

I got the phone calls to stop last year. But the emails continue. I've "unsubsribe" many times. I've sent personal pleas to their email addresses. I get these replies that say they are so sorry for the trouble and of course we will stop bothering you.

The email harassment continues. Any suggestions on how to get this agency to stop bothering me?

BTW I haven't been a traveler for 2 years now. I have a perm job that I plan to stay in to retirement (I'm almost that old).

Thank you,

Doug

This is one of the companies I am looking into and getting information from on Travel positions. They haven't seemed to bother me at all. In fact, I was shocked after I told them in December that I was putting my 'search' on hold and wanted to pick back up in April that they called me Friday just to check in on me.

There should be an option with your email that you could mark those emails as 'Spam' if they are really bothersome. This way they default into your spam folder and not your inbox.

I continued to get unwanted emails and made an entry in my email account to send emails from that address to spam. After one month, they are automatically deleted. Bring up your email account and look for a link that says something like "options" or look for "spam".

Thanks for the replies. I understand about blocking an email address. But that's not what I was looking for. Don't you think an agency should have the integrity to deal fairly?

I would much rather be able to follow the procedure they prescribe to stop the contacts and have it done.

I still hear from other travel companies that I applied to many years ago. The companies usually end up deleting names that have been inactive for a certain amount of time, but sometimes they fall through the cracks and your name is still on the call list.
