Well that wonderful, long Christmas and New Year's break has come to an end and I'm about to wrap up my first week back.
In a few words my week has been intense but undoubtedly doable. I am enjoying them even though it's a lot of work.
How has it been for you?
Hey Chad,
That is too cool that you ended up with you boy scout troop leader as your professor.
I just wanted to suggest that it helped me in lab to type out in my own words the steps for the lab ahead of time so that I at least felt more organized when I worked on it.
All the best.:)
I have had General Psychology which is ok, I think it will be fun in the end. Math 110 which I will probably survive, at least in part to the fact that the professor used to be my boy scout troop leader and I am capable when taught. English is easy stuff for me, I had a 4.0 in English 101 and expect the same in 102. Anatomy is the only class that is really giving me fits. I just need to slow down and read all of the instructions over and over until I can comprehend what I have to do in the lab book.
I got accepted into the nursing program. So I had to drop micro, organic chem, and computer applications yesterday, so that I can take the first clinical class. I am so... happy
This semester SPRING 05 I plan on taking 3 classes , NUR 1, AP 2, music history, and or art history. I am in a community college I plan on pursing a bachelor's degree, and many schools want music/art history. I hope the best for everyone!!!:)
Congratulations! I wish you the best with your studies!
I don't start until the 20th of next week. I still have to go by some of my books and I'm waiting for some to come in the mail. I have Microbiology, Chemistry, Cultural Anthropology, and Social Psychology. I am also taking physiology online. I can drop psych. if I need to, but it seems so interesting. I just want to find out if I got into nursing school or not.
Hi everyone,
This is my last semester before I start nursing school- I find out in March (ahhh) this semester I'm taking microbiology, nutrition, developmental psychology, intro to sociology and a ballroom dance class, I also signed up for immunology but I don't think I'll have time for it.. how many schools is everyone applying to?

Hi Denverchick,
i applied to two schools and have already interviewed with both. I've been accepted at one and am waiting to hear from the other one.
Interesting choice - Ballroom dancing.. that should help reduce the stress :).
