How to register for nursing post in California

I would like to know what is the qualification required for registering under a nursing board in California or any other place in USA . I am living in Malaysia.

You need to contact the BON for the state and they will tell you what steps you need to take.If you do obtain a US nursing license you will still have to go through the process to get a visa.

Definitely CA is out unless you have a SSN and a visa giving you legal residence in the US. Couple of threads discussing the new changes like this thread CA BRN new changes affecting International Nurses with NO SSN - Nursing for Nurses

Also be aware unless you have a valid work/immigrant visa or have a skill which is in short supply in the US and a employer willing to employ you expect a long wait due to retrogression
