How to organize school stuff??

So my first semester I have 7 classes....now do I use one big binder for all of my classes....or a regular binder for every class?? What do ya'll do??

I use an expandable file folder. It has way more pockets than classes, so I break it down with a pocket for each class's syllabus, a pocket for lecture notes, and a pocket for homework or handouts for each class, etc. It makes things really easy to find and I never have to search for a three-hole punch. When I used to use binders I would inevitably get lazy and just stuff everything in the two pockets on the side of the binder anyway. This saves room and work.

My powerpoint notes are all posted online. I make notes and study off of my computer so I don't have to print any of them out. I take my laptop and power cord to class everyday, along with my planner, a couple of pens, and some paper in case I do want to write anything down. What paperwork I do have gets sorted into folders at my house.

I used to do the binder system but I've since realized that keeping my notes organized in my computer is much easier and efficient and keeps less paperwork and stuff out of my house. (Plus, it's way easier to read notes off of my computer instead of printing 6 tiny powerpoint slides to one page!!!)

Oh good Lord I feel old now. :lol2:

LOL well if it makes you feel better, I've seen them, just had NO idea what they were called. i always called them "that thing that looks like a binder, but has a flap"

I've learned something today :o

Thanks these are all great ideas!!
