How many times did you apply before you got accepted?

For those of us who were NOT fortunate to get accepted on the first application, please share your experience to help give the rest of us hope. How many times did you apply to the same school, or to different programs before you got that acceptance letter?

i got in the first time..but only got into one of out of the two schools I applied to..both BSN, and both SUNY's.

A little flustered as I have been attempting for about 1 year now and 4 different schools and 5 rejections later... no dice, still. My grades are average... 3.7 for overall but 3.5 for my sciences. TEAS was above national average but still, embarassingly, not great. Then to top it off... schools keep changing requirements or adding things so I go back to school and take MORE classes. Is this a Southern California problem because we are saturated down here with RN hopefuls? Wondering if I have a better chance at a school out in the middle of a corn field in Iowa. Goodness!

First time to a private school bsn program who gave 1st priority to their own pre nursing freshman. I didn't get accepted. I'm glad I didn't. Too expensive for me anyways.

Second time I did get in to a local cc ADN program.

You must follow all the requirements and please apply on time don't wait till the last moment to.

The teas test is super important it seems it doesn't matter if it's bsn or adn program . seems to be a lot higher for getting acceptance into bsn.
