Fall 2012 is my first time applying for my schools lottery. I really hope I get picked and I know I shouldn't, but I have my hopes up. I was wondering what is the average amount of times people normally have to apply before they actually get in?

My ADN program's average wait is two years (four semesters). However some people get lucky, and others are going on their seventh and eights time applying. Lotteries suck. Don't get your hopes up, just keep moving forward and taking classes to stay fresh and pray that you get lucky.
Wow that is a really long wait!! The CC I go to is lottery for now, they've just announced that as of Fall 2013 they will pick based upon a point system similar to what most of the CSU's use. I don't know if that's good or bad news for me. Guess I shall see if I don't get in within the next year.
Two of my schools have moved to a point system which is good if you are a good student. I'm is Sacramento where are you?
