How many tests have you taken so far??

Published

We started school on August 18 and have already had 2 tests in Assessment and are having our third test this Thursday (9/25) in Fundamentals. On Oct 7, we have a check-off day where we will draw different skills out of a hat and perform them in front of an instructor. The next day we will have clinical orientation. It just seems like we are moving so fast!! Is anyone else's program moving this fast??

Fortunately, our faculty works together to coordinate their curriculum and avoid exam/major assignment overlap.

I think having an exam per 10-15 chapters is actually reasonable. I started on sept 2, first exam on sept 26..and we only have 3 exams for the semester, all comprehensive. I counted 68 chapters that we have covered from my syllabus prior to exam 1 ranging from fundamentals, assessments, geriatrics, and maternity topics. Fundamentals and assessment...pretty much... we covered 80% of the book already and almost everyone is suffering from anxiety in my class because of the upcoming exam. When we're having a study group session, the phrase "Where the hell do we start?" comes in to mind.
