I've just found this site and have found it a great resource for moral support and information. But in reading down through the posts I have noticed something, so I was just wanting to throw this out, how many of you are perfect nurses?
No perfect person inside of me, either.Moondancer.............I love this quote of yours!
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. :)
Thank you! I have had this posted on my fridge for a few yrs now, and I try to live by this...sometimes it's hard! I thought, seeing how I'm spending so much time here anymore, that it'd be another good place to have it to remind me! :)

:chuckle There is only the perfect surgeon, doctor, or radiologist, and of course the pharmacist who never ever messes up, as for me after 30 years i am still learning, after thirty years still asking questions, after thirty years still caring and after thirty years still forgetting things but my patients love me and it is a joy to see them go home in better health than they came in with how ever i would venture to vote for the new graduate as the perfect nurse, they are rather overconfident and under paid according to them and only require minimal assistance ( in actuality it is more like a major assist and the patience of Job for the older nurse but eventually the truth comes to light and all realize there is no perfection, that is why it is called nursing practice. Keep the faith;
