How many patients your guys take care of ?

I just want to know :) please tell me your country too!

In korea, one nurse takes care of 13 patients in ward

Specializes in LTC.

USA Assisted Living 45!

Specializes in Medicine.

Adult inpatient medicine unit, 5 patients per nurse, both for days and nights.

Ok... let me count but wait... Do I include my boss?:woot:

Nights 7-10

Pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center

Emergency Room

I RN: 2 pts.

Only 1pt if you have the held trauma room. If a trauma comes, then your co workers cover your kiddo while you're in the trauma.

Our "fast track" urgent care side is 10 rooms ran by 2 nurses with 2 techs who just break up the tasks. But those kids already have an assessment, vitals, and triage note done before they are in that zone.

I work in LTC for developmentally disabled. 48 patients. My evening med pass is typically 7 hours long.

4 unless short staffed can be up to 6! I'm in NC
