How many nursing schools are you applying to?

Just wondering how many nursing schools everyone is applying to? I have a list of schools but each semester the list gets edited and I wind up dropping and adding new schools.

Specializes in ICU / PCU / Telemetry / Oncology.

I've done the same thing for the past year :D ... as of right now I am applying to 5 accelerated BSNs and 2 ADNs. One of those BSN programs (a private university) already accepted me, and if someone from heaven would send me a nice amount of $$$ :p my worries would be over. But I have to remain realistic and apply elsewhere to see where the best deal for me lies.

Congratulations on your acceptance. I can't wait for the day I begin applying to schools. I hope you get in somewhere else so you have more options.....or a huge cash prize.

I will be applying to only one program, the ADN program at the College of Dupage.:)

Only one as well. ADN program at Joliet Junior College. At one point I had looked into a private university but the cost was too much. I have to stay local because of kids and work so my choices are limited.

i am applying to at least 4 community college and one private fingers crossed

Specializes in PCU, LTAC, Corrections.

As of right now I am applying to three ABSN programs. Only one is my top choice but all three have rolling admissions. Hence early is better.

But my list as a whole has 5 ABSN programs on it with two traditional programs.

Hopefully I get in my first choice.

Specializes in TCU, Post-surgical, Infection Prevention.

When I apply it will be to 6 ADN (1 private) and 6-8 BSN (2 private) programs - the first school to say "yes" will have my vote.

California is competitve
