How many hours did you work during prerequisites?

Published

I have been living abroad but am returning to the US, to start my prerequisites, I already signed up for a CNA class for as soon as I get back. I would just like a rough idea of how many hours people have worked/ been able to handle from personal experience. I know I need to find my own suitable amount, however, it's nice to hear others experiences.

Thank you!

36 hours. Full-time

I am working full-time while completing my prerequisites. I am doing most of my courses online. The flexibility of online classes is awesome!

How many classes do you take each semester?

Right now (Spring 2017) I am taking two for a total of 8 credits. I took A&P I for the first 8 weeks, and I am on the last week of A&P II for the second 8 weeks. I am going to be taking three courses this summer: Microbiology, Developmental Psychology, and Statistics for a total of 10 credits. Micro will be in person, but Stats and Psych are online :)

So you would deff recommend taking online classes if needing to work through prerequisites? Thank you for sharing. Xx

I'd absolutely recommend them! I liked them because you can get the work done around your schedule and don't have to worry about commuting to class. It definitely depends on your learning style, but I enjoyed being given a weekly deadline and having flexibility to complete assignments when I have time.

Yeah, I guess I still have to figure that out! I will most likely take some though. You didn't take sciences online, did you? Bc I know many schools at least in my area do not accept sciences done online.

I'm working full time and going to school part time.
