Me, personally, I saw quads, and yes they all survived.
Ou hospital has deliver sextuplets.
We get lots of triplets and even more twins--most trips are the result of IVF or clomid but I've seen a few spontaneous. I'd say about half my twin mamas were the result of IVF.
It used to be more common when women would go to fertility docs and get pumped full of embryos. Now they have better technology and can place just 2 or 3 (or even one) embryos.
Also many mothers choose to selectivley reduce their gestation. So they may start being pregnant with sextuplets may only carry twins in the end.
I was just wondering what the largest multiple birth you've seen or had at your hospital?Quads? Quints? More? Did they all survive?
How common are they there?
We delivered two sets of quads a few months ago. They were delivered within a month of each other I think both moms were at about 31 weeks. I am not sure how the babies are doing now.
