I just completed my probation and monitoring as of today 4pm. I want to apply for this agency job but when i looked up my license it says board action -yes but the sub action went away.. will my license always say board action or do i have to wait a while for it to go away

It's true.
Most states like Texas have boards of nursing that like to say they have a confidential program to help nurses with recovery, but they often make the order publicly available. Every nurse and employer in your future that are interested in looking up your past will have access to knowing you were in recovery.

Sadly it will live forever on NPDB and NURSYS. Employers check these databases. Most Boards of Nursing automatically forward you to Nursys when verifying a license. They don't fwd to NPDB because they allow you to post a rebuttal.

CRNA here, just curious if anyone here was successful on getting credentialed after being reported to the NPDB for SUD that was self-reported?
