How long did it take to schedule your NP exam?

I am just wondering about this: I mailed in my application to take my ACNP exam two weeks ago today and have not heard back from them yet. How long did it take you to schedule your exam once you mailed in your application? I know they received my application ok because I saw that they already cashed in my check! :) lol

My advice would be to work until you get your authorization then take 2 weeks off to study (if you're able to do that). I'm sort of a study freak, but even I couldn't stand to study any longer than that. I just dedicated a day (sometimes 2) to a system (cardiac, neuro, GI, etc) If you typically study a lot, I'd take 2 weeks. If you study very little, take a week or less. Good luck!

I have already studied a lot so far for 2 weeks, (thought I still have to go over GI, neuro, heme-onc, and shock states), but don't even have my authorization to test yet. I am not working for the last week and a half in June, so I can try to finish up studying and hopefully will have my ATT by then! :)

Joyrochelle: yes, they gave us so much food at the Burlington Fitz. review course...I ate so much! lol

i worked full time until i got my auth in the mail and now i only work 3 twelves a week and the rest of the week i have to study. I dont plan anything for the next 2 weeks other than work=my poor husband is so neglected but just think when we are over w/ all of this we can actually have a normal life!!!
