How long does it take to get results In California

Hopefully once the economy picks up, then California can come out of the dinosaur age and speed up the process so people don't have to wait as long. Other states have their results quicker. It's agony, but the pearsonvue trick put my mind at ease. At least my classmates and I were the lucky ones who were able to receive their results before 4 weeks.

YES, I have recieved my results. approx 6 weeks after i took the NCLEX, and Yes, I passed. I have friends who took it at the begininng of September who still have no results...It sucks that it takes so long, but that's what happens with Furloughs...So I'm thankful I have my results, and I just want to be honest with people who are waiting, instead of saying "it doesn't take that long". You will eventually get your results it's just taking a little longer than normal!

OH and NurseCubanitaRN2b, I didn't mean to come off rude or anything, I was just trying to state the facts about when results came, and you just wouldn't listen, and had your own opinion and what not, but I know I was right and was just trying to give people accurate time frames. So....no hard feelings on my end.

None at all...no worries, but I knew what you were saying, I was just saying what my experience was, and I was one of the fortunate ones that was able to get mine within 4 weeks. It wasn't an opinion of mine, it was a fact since I experienced it myself. Unfortunately you had to wait a little longer and YOU PASSED, so that's AWESOME! Congrats, I know the wonderful feeling so well!!!!!

helllo guyssssssssssss... .i have been following posts like this through the site... i took mine june 4th and up to now i still dont have the results, i have contacted the boards and they are still working on test date may 22... they are getting pretty overloaded since there are pn student surge right now... i guess a lot of people are really getting into this... i just hope i receive mine soon... and by the way i did that pearsonvue trick and it told me to contact board...... so i guess i passed??? lets hope so :)

From the time I received my results, paid for my license and actually received the license number was about a week, and then a week to actually receive my license in the mail. It's not that long.

did you take the PN or RN exam?

From what I have seen posted, and followed the NCLEX-RN wait period seems to be shorter than the PN.

Personally, I took NCLEX-PN, in Anaheim-

April 2nd, took exam

June 3rd, results-sat

mailed check for license mon 6/5

June 15th posted on BVNPT

June 19th ACTUALLY HAD MY LICENSE IN MY HAND :yeah:

my agony was 8 weeks, 6 days for results

11 weeks TOTAL for me....
