How long did it take you to finish up your pre-reqs?

How long did it take you to finish up your pre-reqs? question is for LPN and RN's, Can i finish LPN pre-reqs in 1 quater? I am thinking of Chattahoocie tech, Lanier tech. or dekalb tech?

it depends on what pre-reqs you still need - i highly doubt if it will take a quarter though....

Though I am going to Savannah Tech, I looked up the pre-reqs for Chattahoochee Tech and they are exactly the same for the LPN program and it took me 2 quarters to finish mine... really there is no way to do it all in 1. I took english, math, and diet & nutrition the 1st quarter and psychology, A&P, med term, microcomputers and intro to health care in the 2nd. I will never take that many classes again! I was lucky to come out with a 3.0 LOL

It's going to take me a year and a half. I have had to take A&P twice, but the second time, I had a wonderful teacher! All of my prereqs are at the community college too.

If you dont have any, i dont think you can do them in one quarter. Cause i think is around 5-7 classes depending on which school you are going to

Which school did you attend? After all the A&P horror stories- I may choose a school depending on how good the professor is in that class!

Oh wow! are you talking about LPN or RN pre-reqs? Cause I am doing my LPN pre-reqs and am talking A&P, Healthcare, Medical Terminology, Computers. and doing fine! I have all A's!

I completed all of my prereq's in about 2 years for my BSN prog (...at the time I was looking at a ASN prog, but did not get in.) There are quite a few classes that have to be taken squentially. Eg. A&P I before II, which can be taken along with Chem I, but my school required Algebra before Chem I. I got a C in A&P I and retook it get an A. Then there's also Ab Psych and Human Growth & Dev. I never took science courses together in the same semester to try and get the best grades, so very easily, this can run into 1.5 to 2 years.
