How long did you study for the GRE?

Published

Hi everyone! I'm planning on applying to an adult acute/critical care NP program for Fall 2006 (deadline to apply is May 2006) & I just signed up to take the GRE general test next month. I bought 3 prep books for it & will start studying tomorrow for it. Right now I'm only working 24 hours/week as an RN so I'll have a lot of time to study for it. How long did all of you take to prepare for your GRE?

Thanks!

took it right on the heels of NCLEX so I was already in comp testing mode-- def do online vs paper q's it will help anxiety and it much more realistic to the test.

I did not study bc I was burned out from NCLEX reviewing but had a deadline. I wanted to see where I was and what I needed to work on-def needed to brush up on math but the school (Vandy) said my scores were fine but I know with a few consistant weeks of math review, I could do better--hth!

What was your score, if you don't mind & did you get into Vandy's MSN program?
