Just curious as to how long it took you to receive your ATT for the NCLEX after applying to MDBON? What was your graduation date and how soon did you send in the application? Thanks!

I graduated a few days ago on May 21st and I believe all the preliminary paperwork was sent by the nursing department secretary at the beginning of May. I was told that my transcripts would be sent by the school next week and that we could expect our ATT by June 18-21st. Hope this helps!

OMG with the MD BON this time of year...months! Lol, I'm just kidding but it will seem like it takes that long. As I recall last year it took about 2 weeks to get the ATT and then close to 2 weeks to get my actual license number after passing NCLEX. Good luck!
Thanks! I'm a little concerned because I graduate on Aug 7th and need to have passed the NCLEX by Aug 24th to start my new grad position......HR didn't seem to think that was an issue, but my school (Im coming from Florida) is claiming that I shouldn't expect to get it any sooner than 4-6 weeks after graduation. I really don't want to lose this job!
Did you put MD as the place where you will test? If necessary I'd pay to have your
ATT overnighted from your school to the BON because that way you know it gets there quickly and you have a receipt of delivery if it happens to get lost. Many places here will start new grads without having passed NCLEX so while thats not ideal I would hope your employer would be a bit flexible if necessary. They usually have you sitting in a paperwork orientation for a week before you hit the floor anyway so that buys some extra time. Good luck!
