How long does an interview take?

I just got out from an interview that lasted 15 minutes. Is that the norm? This is new to me. I haven't done an interview in 22 years. When do I send them a thank you email?

My mom works in HR, and when I got out of my first interview in the medical field after less than fifteen minutes, she was sure I had bombed it (I was offered a second interview and ultimately the job). Interviews in the nursing world usually come in multiples! Don't let the time get your stomach in knots. I'm sure you did great!

Did they mention anything about a second interview or a day to come in and shadow?

I had an interview with two nursing directors. They said they will let me know by next week. Writing a thank you email right now :0)

I hope I get the job. :0)
