How long does the ATT take in California?

I was wondering if anyone can share their experience on how long it took to receive their ATT after applying for NCLEX with the BRN?  I'm aware it takes approximately 8-10 weeks but has anyone received their approval sooner than that?  And did some of you apply a month before they graduated or waited until they only had two weeks left as advised on the BRN website?  My cohort applied three weeks before we're set to graduate so hopefully it doesn't hinder anything when it comes to processing our application.
