I graduated from an online FNP program. How did you know you we're ready to test?

I went by the statistics of pass rate by my university, and attended a Louisiana State Nursing Association Credentialing Class (7 days) (with Mississippi Nurse Association Course). I felt it was a waste of $600, and I wish I would have just sat for the AANP-FNP without it!

I too graduated from an online program. I attended a Fitzgerald review, had several review books with questions and rationales, and listened to Hollier's review CDs. I honestly spent a ton of money on review, because with all of that I still went to AANPs website and did the practice test, which I used as a predictor test. Then it was test time, and I passed!
! I knew I had to test when I did because I have a job lined up and know that IL takes forever to process licenses.

As patti above said, the online aafp tests are usually the way to go, they're accurate (especially if you use the AANP one since they give the test), and reasonably priced. If you can pass those practice tests; go for it.
