How do I speed up my renewal application?

Published

Hi,

I didn't pass nclex on the first try. I took it March 29th. They apparently sent out my results but I didn't receive them. I called twice and I'm being told to pay $60 to get it mailed to me again. Yet my classmate wasn't told that. It just really sucks that i have to pay that much for my results.

I already filed my renewal application and paid for pearson vue. I did that 4/12/17.

Now it's just getting my head back in the game and waiting. They tell me it's 10-12 weeks for processing. At this rate, I am just scared it is too far back.

Just looking for feedback .

thank you

This is what I found on California's website: Processing Times

You probably already read all that! But, I figured if you hadn't maybe it would provide you with the info you need. I know the NCSBN states that candidates can retake the exam 45 days after the administration of the exam. Candidates are permitted to take the NCLEX 8 times a year, but no more than ONCE in a 45 day period. UNLESS the area you are in only offers a limited amount of NCLEX exams per year. They encourage you to contact your states BON for further info.

Have you checked to make sure they have your correct address? It seems weird they would say they mailed it but you didn't receive it, and now to be asking for $60 to re-mail it.

In the meantime, I would just continue to study! I remember a while back you replied in a post I replied in about Mark Klimek. Listen to those lectures, they are really good, and just study as often as you can until you get the chance to take the exam again! Good luck!
