How do I quit nursing school after the census date?

I hate nursing school. I admire my classmates so much, they know what they're doing and I have no idea. I don't think nursing is right for me. There's not one day I haven't cried. Nothing is clicking or sticking, I'm not even excited about clinicals anymore. I want to quit the program (UTHSCSA school of Nursing) and I'm on the end of my 7th week. The census date has passed and I'm just not sure how to quit the program or if I'm still able to. I've made up my mind about leaving the program, so if anyone knows the process I should go through to leave, that would be super helpful.

Go to your academic advisor. They know the process.

I can't imagine you wouldn't be able to leave the program, no matter how far in the semester is it. You just may not get a refund and it'll show up as (most likely) a withdrawal from the courses rather than a drop. I agree that your academic advisor will be able to tell you the specific process.

You can quit whenever you want. It being past the census date, if that's what your school calls it, likely just means that it's passed the point where you could get any money back.
