  1. I hate nursing school. I admire my classmates so much, they know what they're doing and I have no idea. I don't think nursing is right for me. There's not one day I haven't cried. Nothing is clicking or sticking, I'm not even excited about clinicals anymore. I want to quit the program (UTHSCSA school of Nursing) and I'm on the end of my 7th week. The census date has passed and I'm just not sure how to quit the program or if I'm still able to. I've made up my mind about leaving the program, so if anyone knows the process I should go through to leave, that would be super helpful.
  2. Does anyone know if we can take classes a little later or are they all at 7 in the morning?
  3. Okay that's cool, I just skimmed over it at work, so I missed that! I'm going to read it and print/scan it when I get home then!
  4. Did y'all print the 20 page packet and scan it? That seems a little excessive.
  5. I made it in to UTHSCSA, I'm crying at work!
  6. Still nothing. I'm so nervous!
  7. I still haven't called UIW, but it's been 3 weeks, I feel like I would just be calling for a rejection letter. I really hope I get into UTHSC, it's my first choice!
  8. I'm guessing if I haven't heard back from UIW that I didn't get accepted. I thought I'd at least get a rejection letter :/
  9. I work at a hospital already and I had to get a bunch of shots updated and what not. That was a little over a year ago, so do y'all think that I'm good for my shots?
  10. Thank you! Dang, I wish I knew what I wanted to do right away, that way I wouldn't have taken all those nonsense classes :/
  11. I had a question, if y'all have an answer, for cumulative GPA do they count all the classes you ever took or do they only count the course requirements? I took a bunch of nonsense classes and classes that have nothing to do with my major/ don't count toward my major when I was still deciding on what to major on. So will those classes count in my cumulative GPA? That's why I say 3.3 because I'm counting all the classes I ever took :/
  12. Hi I'm new to this website and to applying! I just took my TEAS and I got a 76.7 and I'm hoping it's competitive enough for the schools I'm applying to. I have a 3.3 cumulative GPA and a 3.6 Science and Math GPA. I'm applying to UT Health Science Center SA, UIW, and the SAC Nursing programs. But I know you get points for having experience. I have a CNA licence and I work at Methodist for a year now, I hope that gives me an edge considering my TEAS is low compared to all the 85 and aboves I've been seeing on past semester and year posts.
