How horrible

We just found our final grades from the first smester ADN nursing. There were almost 30 people that have failed the semester! There were 120 of us in August. 12 people dropped out during the semester before the final. There were "only" 108 taking the final. It was so hard. I luckily ended up with a B, but one of my best friends did not make it . She even quit her job, so she can concentrate on nursing school. I feel so sorry for her. She called me sounding very said and told me that she failed and she is afraid to tell her mom. I feel so bad for her, because I know how much she wanted to do this. Did anyone else loose friends because they did not pass?

You all are right. It is a completely different style of exams. I remember my first exam, I was thinking how am I going to pick between 2 right answers. After the test the teacher said that all of our exams will be like that, we just have to be the nurse and pick what we would do. It helped me to picture myself in that situation, instead of just reading the question.

I was wondering what school it was that you go to. You mentioned Dallas so my ears perked up. I am attending El Centro's Nursing Program starting in January....is that where you go??

I am attending Grayson County College. It is about 30 min. north of McKinney. About 70% of my class are students from Plano and Dallas driving all the way up here.
