Does your agency do yearly evaluations? If they are certified by the Joint Commission they should be doing that.
Write down a list of your skills, your attendance, any positive feed back you've received from your patients. Ask to speak to the manager and request a raise. It's not that difficult if you're a good employee.
Just be aware, lots of companies aren't giving raises because of financial worries.
Decide beforehand whether this is a reason to leave the employer or if you will suck up a negative reply. With me, it has something to do with how I am being treated in relation to other employees. If everyone is treated the same, then easier to put up with it. When I find out that I am being played the fool, then I think long and hard whether or not I want to be a fool with a paycheck, or a fool without a paycheck.

Hello everyone I'm a LPN and have been working for the same agency for about 7years. I haven't asked for a raise and I'm still making the same pay as when I started. My question.what's the best way to.ask for.a raise in writing? Do I list my skills? how long I've been with the company? Etc etc.
