How do you get skills practice after homecare for 5yrs?

I'm not grasping what you're asking, however and others might not either so you might want to be more specific.

I think you mean how to hon your clinical skills after being in homecare for 5 years? Having done both I would say you'd almost have to get a job in the hospital on a med-surg floor. In a couple of months you'll be all up to date.

I'm in the same boat . I have been in home care for a long time and now what to get my hospital skills back. I've been looking for RN med/surg refresher class but I've had trouble finding one. Seems the hospitals in my area don't offer that . The college does but there has to be enough students to give the class. Maybe you will find one in your area. This was suggested to me by Nurse recuriters...Good Luck!!!
