How did you get into Corrections Nursing or Forensic Nursing in AZ?

I am posting this in both the regional and specialty sections.

If you are a corrections nurse or a forensic nurse (I am an LPN) can you tell me where you went to find employment? Do you need another certificate? How did you get experience?

Any info would be helpful! Thanks

Apply under maricopa.gov's hr section; they've called me twice for an interview to be an LPN for sheriff joe or you can try azstatejobs.com

If you would like to work for state corrections, google AZ state ADC and there should be a healthcare employment link. I would recommend that you complete the app and call the prisons in which you are interested in working and ask to speak to the CRNS I or II and express your interest and the fact that you completed an application. The online process seems to sometimes get a bit "lost."
